The three experiences

Madeira's best views, the easy way.

Two coasts and the open Atlantic, each one a full day done in comfort.

Day one

West Coast by 4x4

Up the dramatic north coast to Porto Moniz, then through the Fanal forest — old laurel trees and low cloud that feels like another country. On the way back, the Cabo Girão skywalk: a glass platform 580 metres above the sea, reached on the flat.

Comfort note. All of it from the vehicle or a few level steps. The skywalk is optional — most people love it, some prefer to watch from solid ground.
Day two

East Coast by 4x4

Up to the Pico do Arieiro viewpoint at 1,818 metres, often above the clouds, then down to Santana and its famous triangular thatched houses. Big views, short walks, the kind of day you'll talk about at dinner.

Comfort note. Viewpoints are a few steps from where we park. Even ground, nothing steep. Take it at your own speed.
Day three

Whales & dolphins by catamaran

A wide, stable catamaran out of Funchal — deliberately not the bouncy speedboat. Pilot whales, dolphins and the odd turtle, with the skipper reading the water for you. Two to three hours on calm Atlantic.

2–3 hours Seated

Comfort note. Seated throughout, with a steady deck and a loo on board. Easy step down from the marina.
A typical day

We collect you from your hotel in the morning, so there's no parking or driving to think about. The day runs in unhurried stretches — twenty or thirty minutes between stops, then time to stand, stretch, take a photo and have a coffee. Lunch is built in. You're back at your door by late afternoon, never wrung out.

Comfort & mobility — straight answers

Built for people who'd rather not climb anything. If you walk slowly or use a stick, you'll be fine — every stop is reached on the flat or with a few level steps, and there's no part you can't sit out. It suits anyone wanting Madeira's best views without the levada walks and harder hikes.

One honest caveat: the 4x4 sits a little higher than a car, so there's one step up to get in. The driver gives you a hand, and we're happy to take it slowly — just tell us. If you use a wheelchair full-time, message us first so we can be straight with you about each stop.
What travellers say

Made for taking it slow.

My mother is 74 and worried she'd hold everyone up. She didn't. The driver waited, helped her in and out, and she saw Pico do Arieiro above the clouds. Worth every penny.

Sarah, UK

We wanted Madeira without the walking and this was exactly it. The catamaran was calm, no seasickness, and we saw dolphins twice. Lovely, relaxed pace.

Derek, UK

Picked up and dropped off, no stress, no rush. I have a dodgy knee and never once felt left behind.

Good to know

Your questions, answered.

Do we need to be fit?
No. The pack is built around staying seated, with short, flat walks at each stop. There's nothing you have to do — anything optional, you can watch from the side.
How does scheduling work?
You don't pick dates when you buy. The pack is valid for 12 months, and we help you book each experience when you're ready — a quick message and we sort the day that suits you.
What's the cancellation policy?
Free cancellation up to 48 hours before each experience. Plans change; we understand.
What should we bring?
A light jacket (the Arieiro viewpoint is cooler and breezier than Funchal), comfortable shoes, sunglasses and a camera. We'll remind you before each day.
Can you collect us from our hotel?
Yes, hotel and apartment pickup across the Funchal area is included. Tell us where you're staying and we'll arrange the rest.
What's not included?
Pickup from outside the Funchal area (available from €5, depending on location), plus food, drinks and any entrance fees. We'll confirm any small extras when you schedule each experience.
