PR1.2 Pico Ruivo Hike

Hike to Pico Ruivo — Madeira’s highest peak — on a guided walk starting from Achada do Teixeira, with hotel pickup included.

This is one of the most rewarding mountain trails on the island, with wide views across the central massif and the chance to hike above the clouds when conditions are right.

Your guide will set the pace and help you get the most out of the route, finishing back at Achada do Teixeira before returning to your accommodation.
