Every car comes with full CDW (Collision Damage Waiver) — zero excess. Not covered as standard:

• Windscreen, windows and mirrors
• Tyres and underbody
• Rims and alloy wheels
• Roof and body panels

These are standard exclusions across all car hire in Madeira. Extra cover for these items is available on request — just ask when you book.

18 years old with a valid driving licence. Drivers under 21 pay a €600 refundable deposit on the day of pick-up — returned in full when the car comes back in good condition. No young driver surcharge applies.

Your driving licence (physical card, not just a photo) and a passport or national ID. EU and EEA licences are accepted as standard. If your licence was issued outside the EU, ask us and we'll confirm whether an International Driving Permit is required.

It depends on the car. Not every vehicle in the fleet is cleared for the Porto Santo ferry crossing. Let us know in advance and we'll check which car is eligible for your trip.
