🌿 The route takes you deep into Madeira’s Laurissilva Forest, with moss-covered walls, rich vegetation, and waterfalls along the way. There’s even a section where the path gets narrow and passes under a dripping cascade — refreshing, but you might want to bring a light raincoat or hood for that part.

For the more adventurous, there’s a steep stairway along the way that leads down to Lagoa do Vento, a hidden lagoon fed by a powerful cascade. It’s optional, but definitely worth it if you’re feeling brave — just be ready for the climb back up!
