PR8 Ponta São Lourenço Hiking Transfer

Hike Madeira’s most iconic coastal trail on a self-guided PR8 walk, with transfers included to and from Ponta São Lourenço.

This is the easiest way to do the hike without renting a car: we pick you up, take you to the trailhead, explain the route, and collect you again when you finish.

Expect dramatic ocean views the whole way, wide open scenery, and a relaxed, easy route that suits most travelers. If you have extra time and it’s warm, you can bring swimwear for a quick dip.
