About 11 km, 5 hours of moderate walking on a historic path that locals once used to cross between villages. Free pickup from Funchal, Caniço, Santa Cruz and Machico. Available Thursdays, other days on request. Skip this one if you have vertigo — there are sections with serious exposure — and wear shoes with grip. No toilets on the trail.","short_description":"Larano is a rich walk composed of agricultural land and crops from Machico, complemented with the superb views over São Lourenço peninsula, Porto Santo Island and the northeastern coast.","duration":"5 Hours","price_cents":4800,"max_guests":12,"difficulty":"moderate","featured":true,"active":true,"cover_url":"https://images.beyondmadeira.com/tours/gallery/larano-boca-do-risco-hike/madeira-vereda-do-larano-01-1600.webp","gallery":["https://images.beyondmadeira.com/tours/gallery/larano-boca-do-risco-hike/madeira-vereda-do-larano-01-1600.webp","https://images.beyondmadeira.com/tours/gallery/larano-boca-do-risco-hike/madeira-vereda-do-larano-05-1600.webp","https://images.beyondmadeira.com/tours/gallery/larano-boca-do-risco-hike/madeira-vereda-do-larano-04-1600.webp","https://images.beyondmadeira.com/tours/gallery/larano-boca-do-risco-hike/madeira-vereda-do-larano-06-1600.webp","https://images.beyondmadeira.com/tours/gallery/larano-boca-do-risco-hike/madeira-vereda-do-larano-02-1600.webp"],"includes":["Professional guide","Insurance","Hotel pickup and drop-off"],"created_at":"2026-04-07T01:32:50.209041+00:00","pickup_type":"full_pickup","pickup_zones":null,"pickup_partner":null,"meeting_point_address":"Free pickup in Funchal, Caniço, Santa Cruz & Machico.
